Wayne Barkel, H.B.Sc. (Mathematics), M.A. (Mathematics), B. Ed. (Intermediate/Senior Mathematics)
Wayne has 30 years of experience teaching mathematics at both the secondary and university levels.
A knowledgeable mathematics educator, Wayne’s experiences are extensive and include:
· preparing students for standardized tests since 1982
· coordinating mathematics placement testing, and developing and delivering remedial mathematics programs at York University
· teaching the Fundamentals of Mathematics course for the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at York University
· teaching secondary school mathematics
Specialties:
· tutoring at both the secondary and university levels
· tutoring individuals and groups of students preparing for the SAT, GRE and GMAT
· developing SAT, GRE and GMAT preparation courses
Wayne will be teaching our Toronto math orientation on May 2 and the math component of our weekend SAT preparation course the weekend of May 15, 16, 17!
